Support participants with complex needs as a part time permanent Youth Care Worker at Matheson House in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Use empathy, creativity, and behavior management daily.
At Ranch Ehrlo Society, this Youth Care Worker position supports children, youth, and adults in group living. You will create structured environments, provide emotional and physical support, teach life skills, and model positive behavior. Collaboration with clinical professionals, unit managers, and multidisciplinary colleagues guides treatment plans and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate support in safe, nurturing living environments
Develop and implement engaging activity plans
Teach self-care, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and social skills
Resolve conflicts using behavior management and crisis strategies
Complete accurate documentation and reports
Requirements:
High school diploma completion
One year supporting people with complex challenges
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of behavior management and support strategies
Class five novice two or higher driver's license
