Registered Social Worker Grief Support
Compassionate Grief Centre
Use your social work credentials to support grief and loss counselling at The Compassionate Grief Centre, serving Fredericton clients in person.
The part-time position welcomes Registered Social Workers, including BSW and MSW professionals, as well as Licensed Clinical Counsellors. You will provide counselling for individuals, families, and children facing grief, illness, and life’s challenges. You will also support community programs, facilitate groups, and uphold the centre’s values of Respect, Trust, Communication, and Compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel individuals navigating grief, illness, and life challenges
Support families and children through counselling services
Contribute to community programs and local initiatives
Facilitate support groups for community participants
Help sustain a caring, supportive organizational culture
Requirements:
Registered Social Worker with BSW, MSW, or RSW credentials
Licensed Clinical Counsellor credentials also accepted
Carry insurance and remain in good professional standing
Available for in-person work in Fredericton, New Brunswick
Able to start in November or December 2026
