Support client wellness as a Health Care Aide with Excel Society in Edmonton, using respectful communication and health care competencies. Work temporary rotational shifts at Balwin Villa.
This Health Care Aide role provides care within established Health Care Competencies. You will build rapport with clients and families while supporting physical, mental, emotional, psychosocial, and cultural or spiritual needs. The position includes observation, reporting, documentation, infection control, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care within Health Care Competencies
Build respectful client and family relationships
Support client health, wellness, and safe home environments
Observe, document, and report client status and behaviours
Check equipment and follow infection control procedures
Requirements:
Alberta-recognized HCA certificate and CLHA Directory enrolment
Current First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Satisfactory current criminal record check
Bring client care, active listening, documentation, and communication skills to Excel Society’s Balwin Villa services in Edmonton.
