Industrial Coating Applicator Technician

Apply industrial coatings and support corrosion control with Advanced Lining, traveling 90% or more across local and out-of-state projects. Prepare surfaces, handle equipment, and follow job site safety practices.
Advanced Lining, a UFT company, installs manhole lining, manhole coating, and water rehabilitation products. As a Coating Applicator Technician, you will support certified applicators and crew leads. Your work includes surface preparation, coating application, materials mixing, equipment handling, and environmental monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with pressure washing, sanding, grinding, and masking
Set up and clean coating equipment, hoses, and materials
Apply coatings using brush, roller, or spray equipment
Mix coatings according to specifications under supervision
Follow PPE, respirator, fall protection, and safety procedures
Requirements:
One year of coating application or relevant experience
High school diploma or GED
Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work confined spaces
Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to travel 90% or more
Build industrial coatings experience through hands-on surface preparation, application, equipment handling, and corrosion control work.
