Industrial Waste Services Driver Ottawa

Support GFL Environmental’s Ottawa operations as an industrial driver handling waste-service equipment, inspections, and secure transportation. AZ or DZ licensing is required.
This driver role serves customers across GFL Environmental’s integrated environmental services operations. You will operate power vacuum, hydro excavation, combination, box truck, roll-off, and high-pressure water units. Responsibilities include safe equipment operation, regulatory compliance, load security, vehicle checks, customer deliveries, and reporting mechanical or delivery concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare equipment and apply safe cargo-handling practices
Perform trip inspections before, during, and after deliveries
Follow transportation, safety, dangerous-goods, and hours-of-service legislation
Report defects, accidents, violations, damage, and customer problems
Load and unload trucks while confirming secure positioning
Requirements:
Valid AZ or DZ licence and clean Driver’s and CVOR abstracts
Mechanical knowledge for operating and checking assigned vehicles
Ability to work irregular schedules, extended hours, and variable shifts
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
Manual transmission preferred; automatic and manual transmissions available
Use your AZ or DZ licence, inspection discipline, and equipment knowledge across GFL Environmental’s Ottawa service operations.
