Teach Division Three Humanities at Calgary Girls Charter School, using inquiry-based learning and technology to support girls’ development.
This probationary position runs from November 16, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The role serves students in grades four through nine within an all-girls learning environment. You will contribute to academic achievement, social-emotional development, and learning experiences shaped by diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Humanities at the middle school level
Design intentional inquiry-based learning opportunities
Engage students through authentic, real-world challenges
Create safe, caring, inclusive learning environments
Explore possibilities offered by educational media
Requirements:
Background teaching Humanities at the middle school level
Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
Technological literacy
Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Current Vulnerable Sector Check within three months
