Africa International Programs Officer
FH Canada
Lead Africa-focused international programs remotely from Canada, applying results-based management and MEAL systems to strengthen community-led impact.
FH Canada seeks a Program Officer for its International Programs team and Africa portfolio. You will oversee program partnerships, support local initiatives, and align delivery with the 2030 focus on Partnering for Impact. Cross-cultural collaboration, trust-based partnerships, and measurable results are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate participatory program design, monitoring, and learning processes
Maintain partner communication and conduct in-person visits
Oversee financial planning, performance monitoring, and reporting
Support grants, donor relations, and funding opportunities
Contribute to knowledge exchange and development thought leadership
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in international development or related field
Minimum three years’ international development or humanitarian experience
Results-based management and MEAL systems experience
English fluency and cross-cultural working ability
Legal ability to work in Canada and travel internationally
