Director Commercial Real Estate Lending

Lead commercial real estate lending at RBC in Vancouver, using credit structuring and client relationship management across Eastern Canada.
As a Director, you will develop business and manage commercial real estate clients in hospitality, seniors housing, and self-storage. You will structure bilateral and syndicated facilities while advising valued RBC clients. The role includes underwriting oversight, portfolio management, and collaboration with an Associate Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver financing for hotels, seniors housing, and self-storage
Structure bilateral and complex syndicated transactions
Oversee credit underwriting quality and loan structuring
Maintain portfolio health, expiries, securities, and reporting
Build transaction pipelines and external industry networks
Requirements:
Previous real estate IPP lending experience
Proven sales, business development, and client management record
Strong negotiation, credit structuring, and underwriting skills
Project budget and financial statement analysis experience
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and communication skills
