Senior Director Leveraged Finance

Lead leveraged finance strategy at RBC in Vancouver, applying credit structuring and Private Equity expertise to national client mandates. Occasional travel within Canada may be required.
As Senior Director, Mid-Market Leveraged Finance, you oversee a team supporting Corporate Client Group objectives. The work centers on leveraged lending for Private Equity owned or backed companies, with emphasis on PE and Structured Finance. You will originate, structure, deliver, and monitor syndicated and bilateral transactions while advising partners on lending and relationship goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a national Mid-Market Leveraged Finance underwriting team
Originate and structure syndicated and bilateral loan transactions
Present marketing pitches to existing and potential clients
Partner with RBC teams on financing opportunities
Analyze optimal capital structures and transaction risk returns
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
Seven or more years in corporate lending, finance, or risk management
Leveraged lending transaction or Private Equity experience
Strong quantitative, financial, analytical, and credit skills
Professional communication, presentation, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Bring leveraged finance leadership, Private Equity knowledge, and credit structuring expertise to RBC’s Vancouver-based national mandate.
