Provide acute inpatient nursing at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland, using clinical judgment and critical thinking across varied patient needs.
As a Registered Nurse on 2 East, you will support patients recovering from surgery and managing acute medical conditions. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Holistic healing, comfort, safety, and professionalism guide interactions with patients, families, physicians, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered care on the 2 East Medical Surgical floor
Support post-operative recovery and acute medical condition management
Collaborate with healthcare professionals across diverse patient needs
Promote patient comfort, safety, and holistic healing
Participate in process improvement and professional development
Requirements:
Current Ontario nursing registration in good standing
Compliance with College of Nurses quality assurance standards
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Excellent clinical, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills
Availability for days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Bring acute care expertise, communication, and compassionate nursing to diverse patients at GBGH’s 2 East inpatient unit.
