Used Car Department Manager
Thor Motors Orillia
Lead used vehicle operations at Thor Motors in Orillia, using vAuto, Tekion, and AutoAlert to drive inventory and deal performance.
As Used Car Manager, you will own the pre-owned department from acquisition through delivery at a locally owned Ford dealership. Manage appraisals, pricing, recon, merchandising, desking, coaching, Ford programs, and daily reporting. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with alternating Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquire inventory through trades, service lane, equity, returns, buys, and auctions
Appraise and price vehicles daily using vAuto
Manage recon costs and online merchandising within 48 hours
Desk used and trade deals in Tekion
Coach consultants and report results to the General Manager
Requirements:
Three-plus years managing used departments or desking franchises
Hands-on vAuto Provision experience
Tekion, AutoAlert, and inford experience is an asset
Record of growing used gross and turn
Valid OMVIC registration and Ontario G licence
Bring used vehicle leadership, dealership desking expertise, and measurable gross and turn results to Thor Motors.
