Design slot-game mathematics at Hard Rock Games using probability, Java, and simulation skills to validate player-facing releases. Own correctness from concept through launch and live operations.
As a Slot Mathematician, you will model and validate math across Hard Rock Games’ portfolio. Your work covers reel strips, paytables, symbol weights, bonus features, free spins, jackpots, and multiple RTP variants. You will collaborate with designers and developers while supporting regulatory certification.
Key Responsibilities:

Design reel strips, paytables, symbol weights, and bonus features
Tune RTP, hit frequency, volatility, and multiple RTP variants
Write and validate simulations for complex slot games
Playtest builds and verify implemented math and feature behavior
Produce PAR sheets and certification documentation for GLI and BMM
Requirements:

Three-plus years designing math models for shipped slot titles
Strong probability, combinatorics, and expected-value analysis knowledge
Java preferred; Python, C++, or C# also welcomed
Experience with Git and shared code repositories
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
Apply slot mathematics, programming, and regulatory knowledge to build accurate games for Hard Rock Games’ portfolio.
