Global Operational Risk Executive

Lead global operational risk transformation at Manulife through enterprise ORM strategy, resilience expertise, and regulatory engagement across a complex organization.
This Vice President-level leader oversees Manulife’s Global ORM function and supports the Head of Technology, Operational and AI Risk. The mandate combines operational risk governance, business resiliency, crisis management, and information risk leadership. You will guide enterprise implementation, strengthen risk capabilities, and align practices with regulatory expectations, industry developments, and company strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Global ORM function across Manulife
Implement the enterprise-level ORM program
Oversee risk appetite, assessments, incidents, scenarios, and reporting
Engage OSFI and other regulators as appropriate
Drive global operational risk transformation and technology implementation
Requirements:
12–15 years in resiliency, crisis management, and ORM
Large enterprise experience in complex global environments
Successful multinational business-model transformation record
Knowledge of Canadian and United States regulatory environments
Strong communication, influence, analysis, and critical-thinking skills
Bring enterprise ORM leadership, strategic judgment, and regulatory expertise to Manulife’s global operational risk agenda.
