Director of Hospitality Nanaimo

Lead hospitality at Oceanview in Nanaimo, BC, using people leadership and food services management to shape a new senior living community.
As Director of Hospitality, you will build teams, establish culture, and bring Compass and Unidine hospitality standards to life. You will manage daily operations while supporting resident experiences, financial reporting, food safety, and quality assurance. Canadian work experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage hiring, training, discipline, and personnel administration
Oversee daily operations and contractual service levels
Complete payroll, period summaries, and sales reports
Maintain budgets, cost controls, and inventory controls
Implement quality assurance, food safety, and HACCP programs
Requirements:
Minimum three years of food services management experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage resident preferences and stakeholder communication
Knowledge of menu management, food costs, and production
Bring hospitality leadership, operational discipline, and resident-focused service to Oceanview and Compass Group Canada in Nanaimo.
