Analyze weekly gross profit and profitability drivers as an FP&A-focused Financial Analyst supporting consumer packaged goods performance.
Based in Mississauga, this hybrid five-month contract requires office attendance Monday through Thursday, with possible extension. The work centers on extracting and organizing financial data in Excel, using established templates and documented processes. You will investigate results against budgets and forecasts, then explain findings to commercial leaders and senior executives.
Key Responsibilities:

Extract and organize financial data in Excel
Analyze SKU-level gross profit weekly
Break down volume and rate impacts
Support financial consolidation and commentary
Identify trends, unusual movements, and discrepancies
Requirements:

Corporate finance, FP&A, or reporting experience
Strong Excel proficiency with data manipulation
Demonstrated variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail
Clear communication with non-finance stakeholders
Use financial analysis, Excel, and sound judgment to explain profitability changes and emerging performance trends.
