CBC/Radio-Canada seeks an experienced, creative Video Journalist for English Services. You will gather, write, shoot, edit, and package journalism while presenting stories live and from the field. Your reporting will reflect diverse perspectives, serve audience needs, and uphold fair, balanced, accurate, thoughtful, and immediate journalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop innovative storytelling treatments and presentations
Gather and package breaking news under tight deadlines
Distill complex information for audience understanding
Maintain sources and contacts across communities
Coordinate coverage with newsroom colleagues
Requirements:

Strong news judgment amid changing priorities
Superior writing across digital and broadcast platforms
Experience creating innovative visual content
Knowledge of cameras, broadcast equipment, and editing platforms
Commitment to diversity and inclusive journalism
Bring multiplatform reporting, visual storytelling, and critical thinking to CBC/Radio-Canada’s English Services newsroom in southwestern Ontario.
