This Lead Architectural Technologist role guides technical documentation from concept through construction completion. You will coordinate architects, engineers, and consultants while producing detailed drawings, specifications, and building information models. The position also involves leading technologists and drafters across projects in the Northern Cape.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical design and documentation from concept through construction
Manage and mentor architectural technologists and CAD technicians
Produce drawings, specifications, and BIM using industry-standard software
Coordinate architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve design challenges
Monitor construction through site visits and technical query responses
Requirements:
National Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related field
SACAP registration as an Architectural Technologist
Minimum eight years’ architectural technology experience
Expert proficiency in Revit Architecture and AutoCAD
Leadership, coordination, communication, and project management capabilities
