Mining Maintenance Coordinator SAP

Coordinate mining maintenance with SAP S/4HANA expertise at Elk Valley Resources, working on-site across key processing and mining assets.
Reporting to the Superintendent or Senior Lead, Maintenance, this temporary Coordinator role supports the end-to-end maintenance lifecycle. You will manage work requests, coordinate resources, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with trades, planners, supervisors, and operations personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer maintenance requests and work orders within SAP S/4HANA
Screen, prioritize, and control requests with full traceability
Lead daily work control meetings across maintenance and operations
Coordinate trades, contractors, materials, tools, and downtime windows
Review completed work orders, parts usage, labour, and trade notes
Requirements:
Journeyperson ticket or related engineering degree and relevant experience
Five to seven years planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance work
Strong computerized maintenance management systems knowledge
Strong technical understanding of mining equipment and operations
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
Apply maintenance planning, SAP coordination, and equipment knowledge to support safe execution across Elk Valley Resources operations.
