Residential Construction Project Manager
K’awat’si Economic Development Corporation (KEDC)
Lead residential construction projects in Port Hardy with expertise in project planning, contracts, and delivery. This full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday.
K’awat’si Construction Company seeks a Project Manager for residential and commercial construction. You will oversee assigned projects throughout their life cycles, managing objectives, performance standards, risk analysis, quality control, communication, resources, and teams. The work involves high-rise, residential, and mixed-use projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver projects on time, on budget, safely, and to quality standards
Plan objectives, procedures, performance standards, risks, and communication
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, resources, budgets, schedules, and quality
Review drawings, specifications, change orders, RFIs, and inspection reports
Chair planning meetings and support final inspections and corrections
Requirements:
Five to ten years of relevant construction project experience
Experience with high-rise, residential, and mixed-use construction projects
Knowledge of construction contracts, construction law, and project accounting
Ability to lead teams and communicate with owners, trades, and consultants
Familiarity with MS Office, ProCore, BlueBeam, and AutoCAD
