Senior Data Business Analyst Toronto

Use PL/SQL, T-SQL, and data warehousing expertise as a Senior Data Business Analyst in Toronto, with hybrid office work preferred.
This 8-10 year role focuses on business analysis, solution and functional architecture, and data analytics insights. You will analyze legacy systems, define requirements, and prepare technical designs for L2 and L3 data models. The work connects business and technology teams across large-scale data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze legacy mappings, business functions, outputs, and source data elements
Profile data and trace target fields through source systems
Document transformation rules, surrogate keys, and reference data
Design L2/L3 mappings, technical models, and data movement
Collaborate on data governance and quality frameworks
Requirements:
Eight to ten years of relevant experience
Strong PL/SQL, T-SQL, query optimization, and SQL analysis skills
Experience with data modelling, Gap Analysis, and MS Visio
Understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and source-to-target mapping
Requirement-gathering and stakeholder workshop experience
