As an Associate Director, you will advise boards, management teams, lenders, and shareholders facing underperformance or financial stress. You will lead workstreams across diverse engagements, manage junior staff, and support Directors and Managing Directors in client-facing delivery. The position emphasizes tailored Financial Advisory solutions for complex situations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage insolvency engagements under applicable Canadian statutes
Challenge business plans and short-term cash flow forecasts
Stress-test integrated financial models and forecasts
Develop restructuring and cash management options
Coach staff and manage diverse engagement teams
Requirements:
CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
Financial Advisory experience in relevant professional services or finance
Understanding of debt markets, banking, and loan agreements
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills
Ability to lead teams and develop people
Bring restructuring, financial modelling, and leadership capabilities to Teneo’s expanding Financial Advisory team in Toronto.
