Design Works Engineering
Lead structural design in Grande Prairie as an engineer of record, using RISA-3D, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD on site.
Design Works Engineering seeks a Senior Structural Engineer with seven-plus years designing buildings. You will lead multi-family residential, commercial, and institutional projects across Alberta and Canada. The work includes wood, steel, concrete, lateral systems, transfer structures, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead concepts, analysis, drawings, specifications, and construction support
Solve lateral systems and transfer structure challenges
Review and stamp engineers' calculations and drawings
Coordinate with architects and in-house engineering disciplines
Support proposals, fee estimates, and client relationships
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
P.Eng. with APEGA, in good standing
Seven-plus years designing building structures
Experience designing wood, steel, and concrete
Proficiency in RISA-3D, ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD
Bring structural leadership, technical review, and multidisciplinary coordination to Design Works Engineering's Grande Prairie team.
