CBC/Radio-Canada seeks an Associate Managing Editor for Radio-Canada Estrie, working under the Senior Manager of News and Programming. You will guide editorial teams, maintain journalistic standards, and align coverage with management direction. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, regional knowledge, and experience across broadcast and digital news.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee news production across digital platforms, radio, and television
Communicate strategic objectives and establish action plans
Guide teams on story choices, resources, and field deployments
Maximize the reach and visibility of multiplatform content
Act for the senior manager during their absence
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
Ten years of journalism experience
Advanced French reading, speaking, and writing skills
In-depth knowledge of journalism and broadcast programming
Excellent knowledge of the Estrie region and local network
