This senior engineer oversees the SIS program and functional safety lifecycle. The work covers SIS and BMS applications, regulatory compliance, process safety, and capital projects. You will provide subject matter expertise from design through commissioning, startup, and lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee SIS governance and functional safety lifecycle activities
Maintain Safety Requirements Specifications and lifecycle compliance records
Evaluate Management of Change requests and system impairments
Lead validation, commissioning support, and troubleshooting activities
Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and contractors
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
Seven to ten years in process controls or functional safety
Experience with SIL determination, verification, and PHA studies
Working knowledge of IEC 61508 and IEC 61511
Professional Engineer registration or eligibility preferred
