Senior Corporate Commercial Credit Manager

Lead corporate-commercial credit risk at Moneris from Etobicoke, using underwriting expertise and data analytics with remote flexibility available.
As Senior Manager, Corporate-Commercial Credit, you will lead Senior Credit Analysts managing Large Key Accounts, Strategic Partners, and higher-risk SMB clients. You will guide underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and mitigation while supporting growth within established risk appetite. The role reports to the VP, Merchant Portfolio Risk Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coach Senior Credit Analysts through complex credit decisions
Oversee underwriting, renewals, portfolio monitoring, and risk mitigation activities
Approve management limits and delegate approval authority across the team
Monitor portfolio metrics, economic conditions, trends, and emerging risks
Partner with clients, sales, legal, audit, and risk stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Professional designation such as CPA, CFA, CCP, or FCSI
Eight to ten years’ credit risk experience in financial services
Five or more years’ people leadership in credit risk
Advanced analytics, Excel, SPSS, SQL, and MATLAB knowledge
