Support quality emergency care as a Registered Nurse with Vancouver Coastal Health, applying CPR, clinical techniques, and computerized documentation skills.
Based at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, this Emergency team position delivers nursing care within a client and family-centred model. You will work independently and collaboratively while assessing needs, implementing care plans, teaching families, and maintaining practice within BCCNM standards. The role also supports organizational learning and quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to assigned emergency clients
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Consult and collaborate with interdisciplinary health care providers
Counsel clients and families about illness and health promotion
Use computerized client care information systems effectively
Requirements:
Current practicing BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse
Ability to adjust, prioritize, problem-solve, and manage conflict
Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
Demonstrated CPR and clinical technique skills
Ability to provide leadership through initiative and independence
Use emergency care, care planning, CPR, and interdisciplinary communication skills to support patients at Lions Gate Hospital.
