Practice general obstetrics and gynecology at Kelowna General Hospital, using consultative obstetrics and emergency gynecology expertise. Choose short- or long-term locum coverage.
Kelowna General Hospital seeks FRCSC-qualified general Obstetrician-Gynecologists to cover established physicians. The Tier 4 referral centre provides approximately 1,800 deliveries annually and neonatal care from 30 weeks’ gestation. Care includes shared management with family physicians and midwives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consultative obstetrics at Kelowna General Hospital
Manage emergency gynecology presentations
Support approximately 1,800 annual deliveries
Participate in shared-care management of high-risk patients
Provide gynecologic surgery including advanced laparoscopy and urogynecology
Requirements:
FRCSC qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
General Obstetrician-Gynecologist practice experience
Availability for short- or long-term locum coverage
Ability to support established physicians’ coverage needs
