Lead mechanical building design in Calgary as a Senior Engineer, applying P.Eng. expertise across heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and controls.
Design Works Engineering seeks a senior mechanical engineer for a technical leadership role. You will serve as project mechanical authority across commercial, institutional and residential buildings. The work includes Alberta codes, Revit, AutoCAD and HAP or similar load software.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical scope through every project phase
Set standards for heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and controls
Review load calculations, drawings, specifications and design documents
Mentor intermediate and junior engineers and designers
Represent mechanical discipline with clients and contractors
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
APEGA P.Eng. registration in good standing
Eight-plus years designing building mechanical systems
Senior or lead experience mentoring and reviewing others
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and HAP or similar software
Bring technical leadership, building design expertise and Alberta code knowledge to Design Works Engineering's Calgary mechanical team.
