Technology FinOps Finance Director

FinOps, cloud economics, and AI consumption management define this Director opportunity for a finance leader supporting technology decisions.
Partner with the CIO and technology leadership team as a trusted advisor. Manage cloud financial models across AWS, Azure, and GCP, alongside SaaS licensing and emerging GenAI costs. Deliver forecasts, vendor analytics, investment cases, and financial governance for technology portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, forecast, and optimize variable cloud infrastructure costs
Analyze SaaS licensing and emerging GenAI consumption costs
Evaluate vendors and support major contract negotiations
Develop business cases and monitor investment returns
Provide personalized decision support to executives
Requirements:
10-15+ years of progressive FP&A experience
Experience in Technology Finance, IT partnering, or FinOps
Cloud spend and technology investment planning experience
Experience supporting CIO, CTO, or infrastructure organizations
CPA preferred, with MBA or CFA potentially considered
Use cloud finance, FinOps, and investment analysis capabilities to strengthen technology cost visibility and executive decisions.
