Transaction Accounting Director

Lead transaction accounting engagements at RSM, applying complex accounting expertise and client management skills in a predominantly hybrid workstyle.
As a Director in RSM’s Deals Accounting and Strategic Finance practice, you will manage Transaction Accounting engagements and teams. The work includes business combinations, carve-outs, financial reporting readiness, accounting policies, and post-close integration. You will serve clients across financial services, technology, life sciences, manufacturing, and other industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage concurrent engagements and engagement teams
Coordinate consulting work plans and client deliverables
Analyze business combinations, carve-outs, and reporting issues
Design accounting policies, reporting structures, processes, and controls
Support sell-side, day-one, and post-close readiness
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
At least nine years of experience
Strong leadership and client management experience
CPA or equivalent certification preferred
Willingness to travel 25% or less
Direct Transaction Accounting engagements at RSM through technical accounting, financial reporting readiness, leadership, and client advisory expertise.
