Educational Technology Innovation Director
Calgary French and International School
Lead educational technology and responsible AI at CFIS in Calgary, advancing learning through strategic innovation and strong leadership. Shape digital and physical environments while supporting academic excellence and student agency.
As Director of Technology & Innovation, you will serve on the Senior Leadership Team and report to the Head of School. You will lead the Associate Director while partnering with pedagogical leaders on teaching, learning, assessment, Learning Commons development, and specialized spaces. The strategy will align with CFIS’s mission, K–12 programs, French immersion, and IB programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop CFIS’s K–12 educational technology and innovation strategy
Guide responsible AI integration and evidence verification
Partner on curriculum innovation, assessment, and authentic learning
Advance Learning Commons and Library inquiry services
Oversee IT strategy, cybersecurity, privacy, infrastructure, and systems
Requirements:
Relevant university degree in education, technology, or related field
Significant leadership experience in education, technology, or innovation
Experience integrating AI, educational technology, and IT systems
Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, and educational impact
Strong strategic planning, financial judgment, and collaboration skills
Bring strategic technology leadership, responsible AI judgment, and collaborative innovation to Calgary French & International School.
