Junior Industrial Building Operator

Operate industrial cleaning equipment and support facility maintenance as a Junior Building Operator with Johnson Controls. Work under general direction.
This junior position supports Senior Building Operators at a large active industrial building. Duties include landscaping, snow removal, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance support. You will complete work orders, respond to service events, and follow site procedures while maintaining safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate industrial floor scrubbers in industrial areas
Move materials using a Skid Steer
Perform snow removal and empty waste bins
Support HVAC maintenance, cleaning, monitoring, and minor repairs
Complete work orders and respond to emergencies
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Landscaping, facility maintenance, or construction experience preferred
General mechanical knowledge considered an asset
English verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
Bring mechanical knowledge, safe work practices, and facility upkeep skills to Johnson Controls industrial building operations.
