Provide adult emergency nursing at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, using critical thinking and patient-prioritization skills in person. Work days and nights.
Shared Health seeks a Registered Nurse for Adult ER - HSC 2, within its clinical job stream. The successful candidate provides nursing care, responds to simultaneous demands, and works independently or within the healthcare team. Knowledge of nursing standards, legislation, unit protocols, and delegation principles supports practice in this setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize care for individual or groups of patients
Respond to varied simultaneous demands in emergency care
Perform independently and as part of healthcare teams
Adapt quickly to changing situations and interruptions
Maintain concentration during demanding clinical work
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program
Maintain registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
Hold Healthcare Provider-level Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation training
Complete Emergency Nursing Orientation Level 1 within two months
Meet moderate to heavy physical effort requirements
Bring registered nursing education, emergency orientation readiness, and patient-prioritization skills to Shared Health’s Adult ER in Winnipeg.
