Food Service Worker Fort MacLeod

Support patient-focused care at Fort MacLeod Health Centre through food preparation, meal delivery, and dependable customer service. This casual relief position includes varied shifts.
As a Food Service I with Alberta Health Services, you will complete routine food preparation tasks under established standards. You will package portions, assemble trays, serve meals, and clean equipment. The work supports Nutrition Food Service and patient, resident, staff, visitor, and community meal service. Strong teamwork, organization, communication, and accuracy are important.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, handle, portion, and package food and beverages
Assemble kitchen trays and deliver patient meals
Pick up meal trays from patient areas
Operate and clean industrial food service equipment
Clean dishes, tables, and serving areas
Requirements:
Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to lift supplies and equipment up to 46 pounds
Ability to push or pull meal carts up to 250 pounds
Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts
Bring accurate food preparation, teamwork, and patient-first service to Alberta Health Services at Fort MacLeod Health Centre.
