Thrift Store Customer Service Associate

Serve customers and donors as a part-time Thrift Store Associate with The Salvation Army, using cash handling and retail service skills.
This position supports ongoing retail operations at The Salvation Army Thrift Store. You will greet customers, complete transactions, answer product enquiries, and contribute to sales targets. The work also includes sorting, pricing, displaying, and replenishing donated merchandise while following store policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers and donors courteously
Complete cash and debit transactions accurately
Sort, price, hang, and store donations
Replenish sales floor inventory and maintain displays
Support opening, closing, and store security procedures
Requirements:

Completion of some high school coursework
A few months’ processing, distribution, or customer service experience
Cash handling and cash register experience
Attention to detail and good oral communication skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 29 pounds frequently
Apply customer service, transaction accuracy, and merchandise processing skills while supporting The Salvation Army’s thrift retail operations.
