Domestic Violence Case Consultant JBWS

Use domestic violence expertise and empathic listening to guide DCP&P case planning for families in Passaic County. This full-time role is onsite.
JBWS is hiring Domestic Violence Liaisons to provide case consultation within the Passaic County Program. The position supports nonoffending parents and children while helping DCP&P staff identify needs and appropriate interventions. Collaboration and flexibility are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:

Consult with DCP&P staff on domestic violence cases
Model best practices when working with families
Present information and mentor local staff
Train DCP&P offices according to DCF standards
Document services under DCP&P and JBWS standards
Requirements:

AA with five years domestic violence experience
Preferred DV Specialist certification from NJ Board
Preferred 40-hour domestic violence training
Strong communication and concise documentation skills
Ability to manage interruptions and multiple tasks
Apply domestic violence consultation, training, and documentation skills while strengthening safety-focused case planning at JBWS.
