Assisted Living Personal Support Worker

Provide assisted living support through personal care, medication assistance, and daily living services for seniors in Fort Frances.
Riverside Health Care’s Community Support Services department has a casual, part-time opening for a Personal Support Worker. Under the Manager’s direction, you will follow service plans for eligible, high-risk seniors. The work includes in-home care, health monitoring, and community-based support.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personal care according to each client’s care plan
Prepare meals and snacks suited to client preferences
Assist with range-of-motion routines and senior exercise programs
Monitor medication completion, changes, concerns, and refusals
Report health or behavioral changes to the CSS Coordinator
Requirements:
Genuine interest and understanding of elderly care needs
Valid CPR certification and Class G driver’s license
Community experience working with elderly clients
Ability to assess needs, set priorities, and respond appropriately
Physical ability to perform essential duties safely
Use personal care, medication support, and health monitoring skills while promoting senior independence through Riverside Health Care.
