Assistant Lead Hand Shipping Inventory
Price Industries
Coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory control at Price Industries Limited’s Winnipeg manufacturing facility. Use ERP transactions, cycle counts, and floor-level leadership daily.
As Assistant Lead Hand, you will support material movement, production flow, and on-time order fulfillment. The work covers shipping documents, incoming materials, inventory accuracy, and employee training. You will coordinate activities while reinforcing safety, quality, and manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan outbound orders, verify picks, and coordinate carrier pickups
Receive materials, identify shortages, and direct proper put-away
Lead cycle counts and investigate inventory variances
Assign tasks, balance workloads, and train employees
Escalate equipment, quality, and schedule risks
Requirements:
High school or college diploma
Two to four years warehousing or logistics experience
Sheet metal, steel coil, or heavy-material experience
ERP/WMS, Microsoft Excel, and reporting comfort
Valid forklift certification and ability to lift 50 pounds
Bring shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and team coordination experience to Price Industries Limited’s Winnipeg manufacturing operations.
