Hospital Environmental Services Associate

Support patient care at Lakeridge Health Oshawa as a Service Associate skilled in cleaning, disinfection, and safe equipment handling. Regular part-time work includes all shifts.
The Service Associate supports patient care units and the Environmental Services program. You will maintain clean, functional service areas while assisting with basic patient care and facility needs. The work involves universal precautions, WHMIS, communication, organization, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and make up beds and stretchers
Clean and disinfect patient care and facility areas
Maintain equipment and report repair requirements
Order, receive, distribute, and replenish supplies
Porter patients and perform facility errands
Requirements:
Read and write English at the required job level
Knowledge of universal precautions and WHMIS
Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize changing workloads with minimum supervision
Physical ability to walk extensively and climb stairs
Bring environmental cleaning, equipment safety, and patient support skills to the Service Associate team at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
