Senior Helpers is urgently hiring Health Care Assistants in Penticton to support seniors with daily living, mobility, and compassionate in-home care.
This position welcomes new graduates and candidates with experience in assisted living, independent living, senior living, nursing homes, home care, or healthcare. You will provide personalized assistance while building genuine in-home connections with clients. The work supports quality of life through practical care, companionship, and communication with healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing activities
Prepare meals and provide light housekeeping support
Monitor and report changes in client conditions
Support safe mobility and patient transfers
Provide companionship and emotional support
Requirements:

Current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry
Recognized Health Care Assistant program completion
English speaking and writing ability required
Negative TB and criminal record checks within ninety days
Reliable transportation and flexible shift availability
