This experienced Payroll Specialist reports to the Payroll Manager within a payroll team. The work covers in-house, multi-provincial, and multi-cycle payroll, with collaboration across HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders. Canadian legislation knowledge and advanced Excel support the role’s reporting and analysis requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end payroll for Canadian employees and expatriates
Maintain payroll data integrity through timely, accurate processing
Support year-end activities, regulatory reporting, and tax filings
Conduct audits, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payroll issues
Provide payroll guidance to employees and management
Requirements:
Six to ten years of payroll experience
Experience with in-house, multi-provincial, multi-cycle payroll processing
Strong Canadian payroll legislation and compliance knowledge
Professional Payroll Certification, PCP or CPP, highly preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and analysis
