Use advanced vehicle diagnostics to service Volkswagen’s expanding lineup at Jim Pattison Volkswagen Surrey. Communicate findings clearly while protecting quality and safety.
This Automotive Service Technician position focuses on accurate inspections, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and dependable repairs. You will recommend solutions, update Service Advisors, and support customers through clear technical findings. Previous automotive technician experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough inspections with accurate documentation and measurements
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
Communicate findings and solutions to the Service team
Provide repair timeline updates with Service Advisors
Work with Parts to source components and manage warranty labelling
Requirements:
Automotive Service Technician Red Seal certification or progress toward it
Valid British Columbia driver’s licence and satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting ability
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
