Global Asset Management Analyst

Analyze markets and investment themes with CIBC’s Global Asset Management team in Toronto, supporting research, reporting, and business initiatives.
This Analyst role provides broad exposure through a structured rotational experience across asset management. You will support research, data gathering, analysis, reporting, presentations, and cross-functional projects. The work builds understanding of investment processes, market trends, client support, and business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather market, economic, and business information
Analyze investment themes, trends, and business priorities
Prepare reports, presentations, commentaries, and supporting materials
Monitor developments and share relevant observations
Partner across investment, research, operations, product, and client teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, International Finance, or related field
CFA designation or progress toward completion is an asset
Familiarity with E-views, Python, Matlab, Bloomberg, or Datastream
Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Capacity to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Build asset management expertise through research, analysis, reporting, and collaboration at CIBC’s Toronto team.
