Senior Corporate Accounting Analyst

Support corporate accounting, consolidation, and reporting in Winnipeg through strong financial analysis, close management, and technical accounting judgment.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will report to the Manager of Corporate Accounting, Consolidation & Reporting. The position combines month-end close support, general ledger management, consolidated statement preparation, and reporting analysis. You will collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis, operational leaders, IT, and cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Support period-end accounting close and accrual reviews
Review journal entries and consolidated financial statements
Administer general ledger structure and financial data mapping
Collaborate with IT on accounting system requirements
Monitor internal control compliance and retain supporting evidence
Requirements:
CPA designation with accounting, finance, or related degree
Four or more years of progressive financial accounting experience
Strong general ledger, accrual, trial balance, and consolidation knowledge
Demonstrated ability to manage close timelines and discrepancies
Exceptional cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
Use corporate accounting, consolidation, close, and systems expertise to strengthen reporting accuracy and compliance across the organization.
