Construction Quality Control Representative
R.v.-Anderson-Associates-Limited
Monitor contractor quality, materials, and documentation at the Island Water Treatment Plant while supporting City of Toronto construction standards.
RVA’s Water/Wastewater group needs a Site Representative for winter project work, approximately December through March annually for three years. This contractual hourly assignment involves inspections, quality-control auditing, equipment testing records, and review of engineering drawings. The representative communicates with RVA teams, clients, contractors, inspection firms, and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit contractor quality-control records and monitor compliance
Track soils, granular materials, concrete, aggregates, and structures
Verify delivered materials and collect supporting documentation
Review red-line drawings, as-built drawings, and contract submissions
Adhere to City of Toronto standards and safety requirements
Requirements:
Civil engineering technician or technologist diploma with Canadian accreditation
Engineering undergraduate degree from a recognized institution accepted
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety construction regulations
Superior written and oral English communication skills
Ontario technician or technologist membership eligibility is an asset
Bring construction quality-control, technical documentation, and regulatory knowledge to RVA’s water and wastewater project team.
