Licensed Practical Nurse work in Edmonton with resident care, medication administration, and supervisory skills in a casual position at Shepherds Care Vanguard.
Reporting to the Program Manager, this Licensed Practical Nurse supports residents and families within a multidisciplinary team. The position provides leadership in safe care delivery, nursing procedures, and medication administration. It also supervises Health Care Aides and other non-regulated health care staff according to established practice standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in safe resident care delivery
Administer medications and perform nursing procedures
Supervise Health Care Aides and non-regulated staff
Ensure quality care and support for residents
Support residents and families within established standards
Requirements:
Licensed Practical Nurse qualification
Good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta
Demonstrated supervisory skills
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to established standards of practice
