Drive linehaul routes from Purolator’s Edmonton North Depot using Class 1 credentials, GPS tracking, and safe freight-handling practices on varied shifts.
As a permanent Linehaul Driver, you operate company vehicles and material handling equipment for customer pickups and deliveries. The Edmonton assignment includes 45 weekly hours, variable scheduling, and on-road work. You support service level agreements through safe, reliable freight movement.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive to and from customer locations
Operate tractors, five-ton vehicles, shunt trucks, and equipment
Pick up and deliver freight while meeting agreements
Resolve road issues with Dispatch collaboration
Scan freight and conduct required vehicle inspections
Requirements:

Valid Class 1 driver’s license and clean abstract
Three years of Class 1 driving experience
Pass road tests, Defensive Driving, and Courier Methods training
Handle LTL freight, skids, and loads up to 70 pounds
Read maps, use GPS tracking, and communicate proficiently in English
