Coordinate resident activities and spiritual care at Maple Towers, bringing program planning and compassionate ministry to seniors in Maple Ridge. This is permanent part-time work.
As Chaplain, you will create varied, resident-directed programs that support wellness, belonging, and spiritual wellbeing. Baptist Housing also relies on you to support residents and families through grief, end of life, and connections with faith communities. You will partner with administrators, volunteers, churches, chaplains, and community agencies.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop programs addressing differing resident needs and interests
Publish and review monthly activity calendars
Help new residents integrate into the community
Coordinate spiritual care volunteers and community relationships
Submit reports and support planning and budgets
Requirements:

Ministry degree or equivalent education and experience
Three to five years’ Christian ministry experience
Experience working with seniors preferred
Strong communication, teaching, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
Use ministry experience, senior care knowledge, and organized activity coordination to strengthen life at Maple Towers.
