Support K-5 scholars at Beacon College Prep in the Raleigh area of Memphis through strong lesson delivery and responsive classroom supports. Foster joyful learning.
As an English Language teacher, you will create safe, academically rigorous classrooms for diverse learners. You will internalize lessons, provide necessary accommodations, and respond to student data. The position also includes family relationships, curriculum collaboration, and school-wide participation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and expertly deliver daily lessons
Provide accommodations, modifications, and learner supports
Build relationships with parents and students
Grade work and provide academic feedback
Reinforce behavioral and operational systems
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required by employment
Valid State Certification preferred, not required
Urban public school experience preferred, not required
Positive attitude and growth mindset
Willingness to implement coaching feedback
