This experienced Fleet Manager role supports a rapidly growing national logistics company. You will manage diverse vehicle fleets, driver teams, fuel efficiency programs, compliance, and accident prevention. The position requires transportation logistics knowledge and South African road safety understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage fleet vehicles for optimal performance and uptime
Develop preventative maintenance schedules across all vehicles
Oversee driver recruitment, training, and performance management
Monitor fuel efficiency programs and operational costs
Ensure transportation laws, licensing, and policies remain compliant
Requirements:
Minimum five years’ fleet management experience
Experience managing diverse fleets and driver teams
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet software
Understanding of South African transportation regulations
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
